DEEP INELASTIC SCATTERING OF ELECTRONS BY TENSOR POLARIZED DEUTERON. CONTRIBUTION OF ELASTIC RADIATIVE TAIL

G.I. Gakh, O.N. Shekhovtsova, A.G. Gakh

Full Text :   (140 kB, Eng.)

Abstract
The model-independent part of the radiative corrections, due to the hard-photon emission from the lepton vertex in the elastic electron-deuteron scattering (the so-called elastic radiative tail), has been calculated to the deep inelastic scattering of the electron beam on the deuteron target. The elastic radiative tail has been calculated both for the unpolarized scattering and for the scattering of unpolarized electron beam on the tensor polarized deuteron target.

GENERAL ANALYSIS OF POLARIZATION EFFECTS IN THE REACTION γ+d→d+π+π. II. SPIN CORRELATION COEFFICIENTS

G.I. Gakh, A.P. Rekalo, A.G. Gakh

Full Text :   (180 kB, Eng.)

Abstract
A general analysis of the polarization observables in the reaction of coherent photoproduction of a pair pseudoscalar mesons on the deuteron target, γ+d→d+π+π, has been derived. This analysis does not depend on the details of the reaction mechanism since it is based on the general symmetry properties of the electromagnetic interaction with hadrons. Expressions for the spin correlation coefficients have been calculated in the terms of the reaction scalar amplitudes. These coefficients are caused by the linear or circular polarization of the photon beam and by the vector or tensor polarized deuteron target. The helicity amplitudes describing this reaction are also calculated. The experimental situation when scattered deuteron and one of the produced pions are detected in coincidence has been considered. The expressions for the spin correlation coefficients for the case of the reaction γ+d→d+π+π have been also derived. The helicity amplitudes describing the reaction γ+d→d+π+π are also calculated.

Full Text :   (130 kB, Rus.)

Abstract
In homogeneous plasma with a spiral ion beam the development of small-scale lower hybrid turbulence is studied. On the basis of the renormalized theory, taking into account the scattering of ions on the random fluctuations of electrostatic potential in a cylindrical coordinate system, the level of saturation of the instability as well as the rate of ion heating across the magnetic field are estimated. These results can be used to explain the nature of ion heating in the lower hybrid structures observed in the Earth's ionosphere.

CORRELATION FUNCTIONS AND ULTRASONIC DOPPLER SPECTRA IN WEAKLY INHOMOGENEOUS ISOTROPIC CONDENSED MATTER

I.V. Skresanova, E.A. Barannik

Full Text :   (195 kB, Rus.)

Abstract
Based upon the continuum model of scattering inhomogeneities, a set of the closed-form expressions for the correlation functions and the spectra of ultrasound Doppler response in weakly inhomogeneous isotropic condensed matter has been derived. The influence of the correlation among scatterers and the diffusion processes on the Doppler power spectra formed by stationary flows has been examined. The effects of these factors on the spectral width and mean frequency are established and discussed in respect to turbulent flows. The Doppler spectra for the cases of non-stationary motion of fluid and elastic condensed matters were studied. Closed-form expression for the integrated power of the Doppler response formed by harmonically oscillated elastic matter has been derived. It is shown that the differentiation of elastic properties of the matter with respect to the value of vibrational amplitude is feasible using ultrasound Doppler method. The expressions were derived and the factors that may contribute to the spectral characteristics are established for the cases of non-stationary accelerated movement of scatterers.

ABNORMAL TEMPERATURE-DIFFUSION RELATIONSHIP IN THE EXTERNAL PERIODIC FIELDS

I.G. Marchenko, I.I. Marchenko

Full Text :   (595 kB, Eng.)

Abstract
Using the methods of computer modeling this scientific paper studies the special features of diffusion of the particles subjected to the external periodic force in the crystal lattice. The particle motion is described by a Langevin equation. The systems with a low friction coefficient may experience abnormal diffusion modes, in particular hyperdiffusion and subdiffusion. The applied external time-periodic field causes limitation of time intervals of abnormal diffusion making the diffusion coefficients dependent on frequency of applied force. The temperature relationships of these values have been calculated. It has been shown that the diffusion coefficients behave in abnormal ways as the temperature changes. In some temperature intervals the diffusion may increase as the temperature drops. Location and width of these intervals depend on the frequency of the external field.

VIRTUAL NITGROGEN DIOXIDE MOLECULE DISSOCIATION IN EXTERNAL ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELDS

A.V. Alforova, B.V. Borts, V.I. Tkachenko

Full Text :   (550 kB, Eng.)

Abstract
The model is proposed for describing a real nitrogen dioxide molecule by its two-dimensional analog, namely, the virtual molecule (VM). The proposed VM model provides the condition of coincidence between the fundamental eigenfrequencies of the real molecule and its virtual analog. The other VM parameters (bond length and atomic mass) are renormalized so that the molecule should steadily exist for a long time interval. Linear dynamics of VM atoms in the field of a monochromatic electromagnetic wave has been investigated. It is shown that under the action of an external electromagnetic field on the molecule at a resonance frequency, secular modes of vibrations are observed. The last ones are characterized by a time-linear growth of atomic oscillation amplitudes. The influence of the turn on of an external force at the time of stabilization of eigenfrequencies of the VM on the stability of VM atomic oscillations were made. It is shown that in some cases breaking of one of the VM bonds inevitably leads to the VM dissociation as a whole. As a result of numerical simulation, it has been established that the bond breaking has a threshold character, i.e., dissociation is not observed at the external force, which is below a certain value. In the region of forces exceeding the threshold values, the variation in the external electromagnetic field frequency is insensitive to the resonance effects that are due to the presence of dedicated frequencies of the VM. It is demonstrated that in the region, where the N - O bond breaking always takes place, there exist the O - O bond stability islands. Optimum parameters of VM dissociation have been determined.

MEANDERING SHAPE OF DISPERSION CURVES OF MAGNETIZED PLASMA-FILLED WAVEGUIDES

V.I. Tkachenko, V.I. Shcherbinin

Full Text :   (800 kB, Eng.)

Abstract
The article presents the results of theoretical research of meandering behavior of dispersion curves of waveguides with magnetized plasma filling. It is shown that regardless of plasma density joint solutions for different pairs of equations, satisfying the dispersion relation, can exist. It is determined that they are unique dispersion curves intersection points with domain boundaries which establish the solution set of these equations. It is shown that for each dispersion curve, belonging to one or several domains can be unambiguously determined. It is discovered that intersection of dispersion curve with the domain boundaries results in its meandering behavior. It is shown that in the absence of the points of such intersection the dispersion curve cannot leave the boundaries of one domain and in this case meandering behavior of the curve is absent.

Abstract
In work results of an experimental research of a structural-phase condition deformed and annealed ferriferous alloys on a basis α-Zr, spent by means of electronic microscopy and microdiffraction measurement are presented. Processes of return and recrystallization alloys are analysed. The structure morphology zirconium alloys is characterised by allocation of particles of the second phase on borders of grains, and on all volume. Formation allocations in certain places of a polycrystal depends temperatures anneal. At temperatures anneal close to temperatures at which there is cell formation structures a second phase it is allocated in grain volume. In samples about temperature anneal to 500°Ñ the second phase allocate mainly in grain volume. In process of temperature increase anneal allocation are formed both on all volume, and on borders.

Abstract
We consider briefly the problem of increasing the accuracy of observation of the effects of displacement energy gamma rays in nuclear gamma-resonance. Set out the reasons for the need for repeated experiments, described the theory of relativity and gravity on Earth at a higher level of accuracy (above 1%). The method of detecting nuclear γ-resonance spectra of rotating objects with high accuracy was proposed. The evaluation of the experimental results obtained under different conditions was carried out. The possibility of experimental verification of a brand new approach to relativistic phenomena description was considered. It is the extended relativistic theory (ERT) that predicts the existence of the maximum acceleration.

REDUCING OF RADIATION EXPOSURE THROUGH OPTIMAL ACTIVITY DISTRIBUTION OF RADIATION SOURCES

V.G. Rudychev, A.Y. Bondar

Full Text :   (231 kB, Eng.)

Abstract
At permanent or temporary storage of radioactive waste (RAW) one of the major challenges is to reduce radiation exposure. The questions about layout of model tanks with a fixed total number of RAW along the line are considered. It has been shown that when radiation sources with the same activity are placed at a specified distance from the line, the dose rate depends on the number of sources. The methodology of determining activities of N sources providing minimum dose rate at a specified distance from the distribution line has been developed. It has been shown that there is an optimal number of sources with a certain activity, as well as their layout at which the exposure dose is minimal at a specified distance from the source disposal line.

Full Text :   (380kB, Ukr.)

Abstract
Transmission of the p-polarized electromagnetic wave through the two-layer plasma structure is studied in a case when one of the plasma layers is not uniform. The system composed of two layers with dielectric permittivities of the opposite sign is considered. The influence of the non-uniformity on the reflection coefficient of the layered structure is studied. The conditions, when the reflection coefficient equals zero, are found. It is shown that non-uniformity affects the transparency of the structure. It is determined that non-uniformity of plasma in the layer with positive dielectric permittivity allows to decrease the thickness of the layer, which is required for full transparency, in comparison with the case of uniform plasma.

N.A. Azarenkov, V.K. Galaydych, Yu.Ja. Leleko

Full Text :   (560kB, Eng.)

Abstract
In our paper the task of diffraction of low frequency electromagnetic waves incident from a homogeneous magnetoactive plasma by a metal circular cylinder surrounded by radially inhomogeneous plasma sheath have been studied. The constant external magnetic field is parallel to a cylinder axis; the wavevector of incident plane wave is perpendicular to this axis. Plasma is cold and perturbations in it are governed by two-liquid hydrodynamic equations and Maxwell equations. On the basic of the exact solutions for fields in plasma sheath with linear profile of inhomogeneity the cross-section are obtained. The angular distribution of cross-sections is derived for various values of incident wavelength. It is shown that it is possible to control effectively this angular distributing by the change of wave frequency and strength and direction of the constant external magnetic field.
